Helping senior leaders build high-performing cultures where people can be themselves.
ILM Level 7 Executive Coach & Mentor
I am Codruta. The One Coach. The one person to have by your side if you want to build a high-performing workforce based on the diversity of your team. The business, which is practically just me, originated from one idea – how could I help leaders in this situation? You should be able to capitalise on your team’s differences regardless of how many generations and cultures it spans across. And I can help you achieve that.
My journey to self-discovery began over 25 years ago when I realised I wasn’t happy with myself, with how my relationships with the people around me were developing, and with the results (or lack thereof) I was getting. Hence, I began investing in my personal and professional development, and I never stopped. I am as curious today about human behaviour and how I could help others as I was 25 years ago.
My career began in Human Resources, where I developed a strong foundation in talent acquisition, people strategy, and fostering employee engagement. I was driven by a genuine curiosity about what enables individuals and leaders to thrive.
Over time, my focus evolved from supporting organisations at a structural level to wanting to support leaders at a personal level. I became increasingly drawn to the transformational impact of meaningful conversations, self-awareness and what lies behind a charismatic leader. This led me to formalise my coaching practice and become an ILM Level 7 certified Executive and Senior Level Coach and Mentor.
My passion for creating high-performing cultures where people can be themselves drove me to give up my career in human resources and focus solely on helping leaders to achieve that. As a member of The Institute of Leadership, I want to partner with leaders at pivotal moments – whether stepping into bigger roles, leading change or redefining success – and support them to navigate complexity, rewire their mind for success and build high-performing cultures.
My coaching is about practical strategies for real situations – the difficult conversation you keep putting off, how to manage a multi-generational team, or how to align employee behaviour with performance targets.
I work with you one step at a time, building frameworks and strategies that are uniquely yours. My approach combines deep listening with direct, honest feedback. I’ll be your greatest champion, but I won’t tell you what you want to hear if that’s not what you need.
The best solutions are often the simplest ones. My role is to help you see what's already there, cut through the noise, and focus on what actually matters.
Real growth happens one step at a time. I’ll help you identify your blockers, practice reflection and build new habits that lead to sustainable change.
You deserve a coach who tells you the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. I pair honesty with empathy because you also deserve respect and compassion.
I believe the best coaching happens when you feel genuinely safe to think out loud. My role isn’t to tell you what to do — it’s to create the conditions where you can see your situation clearly, challenge your own assumptions, and make decisions with confidence.
That said, I’m not a passive listener. I ask direct questions, offer honest observations, and sometimes challenge you when I think you’re playing smaller than you need to. My clients appreciate this balance — support and directness in equal measure.
Every leader I work with is different. A CEO navigating a board restructure needs something very different from a first-time manager learning to delegate. A woman returning to leadership after maternity leave faces challenges that are invisible to most coaching frameworks. I tailor every engagement to the person in front of me.
I hold the ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive and Senior Level Coaching and Mentoring — the highest coaching qualification awarded by the Institute of Leadership and Management. This is a rigorous, practice-based programme that goes well beyond basic coaching skills, covering advanced techniques in psychodynamic coaching, systems thinking, and organisational psychology.
I’m committed to ongoing professional development and regular supervision, which ensures my practice stays sharp and ethical. I bring both formal training and real-world commercial experience to every session — because understanding how organisations actually work is just as important as coaching technique.
If you’d like to explore whether coaching could help you, I offer a free 30-minute discovery call. It’s a conversation, not a sales pitch — and it’s the best way to see whether we’d work well together.
