World-class executive and leadership coaching delivered via video call. The same powerful, personalised experience as in-person coaching — without the commute, without the limitations.
There's a common misconception that online coaching is somehow inferior to face-to-face sessions. The research says otherwise. Multiple studies have confirmed that online coaching is equally effective as in-person coaching, with some evidence suggesting it can even improve outcomes due to the increased comfort and flexibility it offers.
At The One Coach, all coaching is delivered online by design — not as a pandemic afterthought. This means the entire experience is optimised for virtual delivery, from session structure to follow-up support.
Sessions run on whichever video platform you prefer — Microsoft Teams, Zoom. I adapt to you, not the other way around.
Sessions are booked at times that work for you, including early mornings and evenings. Need to reschedule? No problem — flexibility is built in.
Coaching doesn't stop when the call ends. You'll receive session summaries, action points, and email support to keep momentum between sessions.
Because coaching is 100% online, I work with clients in every major UK city and beyond.
There’s a persistent myth that coaching needs to happen face-to-face to be effective. The research tells a different story. A study published in the International Journal of Evidence Based Coaching found no significant difference in outcomes between in-person and virtual coaching. In some cases, online coaching actually produced better results — because clients felt more comfortable and focused in their own environment.
Online coaching removes the friction that often derails busy professionals. No commuting to a coaching office. No rearranging your diary around travel time. No awkward encounters in a shared building. You simply join from wherever you are — home office, hotel room, or a quiet corner of your workplace.
All of my coaching takes place over video call, using Microsoft Teams or your preferred platform. Sessions are 90 minutes — long enough to go deep, structured enough to stay focused. You’ll receive a session summary and reflection prompts afterwards to keep the momentum going between sessions.
Every coaching engagement begins with a free 30-minute discovery call. This is where we explore your goals, discuss your challenges, and determine whether we’re the right fit for each other. There’s no pressure and no obligation.
Once we begin, sessions follow a consistent rhythm. We start by reviewing progress since our last conversation, then focus on the topic that matters most to you right now. I bring frameworks and tools where they’re helpful, but the agenda is always yours.
Between sessions, you’ll have email access to me for quick questions or moments when you need a sounding board. Many clients find this ongoing support as valuable as the sessions themselves.
Whether you’re based in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, or anywhere else in the UK, you’ll receive exactly the same quality of executive coaching — personalised, confidential, and designed to deliver real results.
Just a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone. Most clients use a laptop, though tablets and phones work too. I use Microsoft Teams as standard, but I’m happy to use Zoom, WhatsApp or another platform if you prefer.
Research and my own experience confirm that it is. Many clients actually prefer online sessions because they can be more open in their own space. The quality of the conversation is what matters — not whether we’re in the same room.
Everything discussed in coaching is completely confidential. I use encrypted video platforms and never record sessions. If your coaching is sponsored by your employer, I provide progress updates only with your explicit consent — and you control exactly what is shared.
